Occupants demand to fine activist Kadyrov 25,000 rubles

April 27, 2021

The so-called prosecutor of the Nyzhniohirsk District Court of the occupied Crimea demands a fine of 25,000 rubles for the Crimean Tatar activist Ayder Kadyrov, who is accused of failure to report a crime. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

Taking into account Kadyrov’s serious illness and the presence of minor children, the prosecutor asked the court to impose a fine on the accused in the amount of 25,000 rubles. The defense disagrees with this and insists on Kadyrov’s innocence”,- the message said.

We remind that on August 31, Russian security forces conducted mass searches in the houses of the Crimean Tatars in the Nyzhniohirsk and Sovietskyi districts of Crimea, as well as in the city of Sudak. As a result, four people were detained. Subsequently, Enver Topchi, Ayder Abliakimov, Ridvan Umerov and Ayder Kadyrov were released on recognizance not to leave. They are charged with Article 205.6 of the Criminal Code of Russia (failure to report a crime).
