On Friday, April 23, FSB officers detained a resident of Alushta in the occupied Crimea, a citizen of the Russian Federation, for calls to carry out extremist activities. It is reported by the Kryminform media agency.
“The activities of a citizen of the Russian Federation suspected of public calls for extremist activities committed using the Internet have been suppressed”, – the message says.
It is noted that a resident of Alushta, born in 1984, posted materials via his Internet pages in which he called for the violent actions against citizens on ethnic grounds. During the search, various ideological and religious literature, equipment and electronic media were seized from the man.
A criminal case was initiated against the Crimean resident on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activity).
