On Wednesday, April 14, the employees of the center for countering extremism came to the house of the Crimean Tatar Abduselyam Selyametov in the village of Zarechnoye, Simferopol region. The officers took away the religious literature, textbooks, as well as a telephone, a system unit and a video recorder. This was reported by the “Crimean Solidarity” public association.

Abduselyam Selyametov himself has been outside Crimea for several years. His eldest son, Adil, was alone in the house.

"One of the officers explained to Adil that the search was carried out in the frame of investigation in the other criminal case related to terrorism. In particular, they were interested in the IP address of Selyametov and the content of the correspondence. What is the case and how the IP address of the Selyametovs family connected with it, we will definitely study," – said the lawyer Rustem Kyamilev.

After a thorough examination, the invaders took away  the religious literature, textbooks, as well as a telephone, a system unit and a VCR.
