On Tuesday, April 13, the Supreme Court of the occupied Crimea extended the term of detention for the political prisoner Ivan Yatskin, who is accused of alleged high treason in the form of espionage. He will remain behind bars until July 1, 2021.

We remind that in the beginning of December 2019, Russian security forces in the occupied Crimea detained Ivan Yatskin, a resident of Simferopol, on charges of alleged high treason. Subsequently, the man was transfered to Moscow. He was arrested until March 16, 2020. Ivan Yatskin's lawyer, Nikolai Polozov, signed a non-disclosure agreement in the "case".
