The so-called Dzhankoy District Court extended the arrest of the Ukrainian serviceman Yevhen Dobrynskyy until June 5, 2021, although he should have already been sentenced. This was reported by the Crimia.Realities media agency.
“At today's court session, the last word and the announcement of the verdict were to take place, but my client Yevhen Dobrynskyy was not brought to the court session. As it became known from the certificate provided by the pre-trial detention center, the cell in which Yevhen Dobrynskyy is kept, is in quarantine due to COVID-19. In this regard, the prosecutor filed a petition to extend the measure of restraint for my client for 2 months. We objected to satisfying the petition, but the court decided to extend the term of detention in the pre-trial detention center for Yevhen Dobrynskyy until June 5, 2021”,- said lawyer Isliam Veliliaiev.
We remind that on May 30, the Russian FSB detained a Ukrainian serviceman who disappeared on May 30 at the administrative border with the occupied Crimea. A so-called criminal case was opened against him on illegal crossing of the Russian border.
