Crimeans are urged to save water

March 29, 2021

The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the occupied Crimea calls on the inhabitants of the peninsula to save water. The occupants offered to take a shower instead of a bath. This was reported via the website of the department.

“Take a shower – thus the water consumption is several times less than while taking a bath. Personal hygiene procedures are a mandatory daily event, but when using a shower, the consumption will be 30-50 liters of water. If we talk about the fullness of the bathroom, it will take 130-180 liters. When using a shower, we recommend installing a water-saving shower head. This will help reduce water consumption by more than 40%”,- the report said.

In addition, the Crimeans were called upon to repair all plumbing fixtures that have a water leak, since a year of operation of the current tap will cause damage to 20 thousand liters of water just drained into the sewer.
