On Monday, March 22, during a so-called court session in the Gagarinsky District Court of Sevastopol, the occupants requested 7 years of imprisonment for Viktor Stashevsky, a suspect in participation in the Jehovah’s Witnesses religious organization banned in Russia. This is reported by the the Crimean Process public association.
“During the court session, which lasted nine hours, the examination of material evidence was completed. After the interrogation of Stashevsky, the parties proceeded to the judicial debate. The state prosecutor stated that he considered his guilt fully proven and requested 7 years of imprisonment for the defendant”,- the statement said.
