On Tuesday, March 16, the anniversary of the so-called Russian referendum on the status of the Crimean peninsula, the Turkish Foreign Ministry reaffirmed the invariability of support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“We confirm that we do not recognize the actual situation on the peninsula, which constitutes a violation of international law, and we reaffirm our support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”,- the message says.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry stressed that they continue to closely follow the development of events in Crimea.
