EU extended individual sanctions against Russia

On Friday, March 12, the European Union extended individual sanctions for six months against 177 people and 48 organizations involved in undermining the territorial integrity of Ukraine. This was reported via the EU website.

“Today, the Council decided to extend sanctions against those responsible for undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine for another six months until September 15, 2021”,- the statement said.

It is noted that the existing restrictive measures include travel restrictions, an asset freeze and a ban on the provision of funds or other economic resources to listed individuals and organizations. The sanctions will continue to apply to 177 individuals and 48 legal entities.
