On Thursday, March 4, sixteen former political prisoners presented the Platform for the Release of Political Prisoners, the main goal of which is to restore justice to everyone as soon as possible. This was reported by Oleh Sentsov via his Facebook page.
“The platform is a non-partisan association, which was created to protect the rights and release of all who are imprisoned due to political persecution outside our country, in the occupied territories and inside the country. Our goal is to restore justice to everyone as soon as possible”,- the message said.
The founders of the Platform are: Aseev Stanislav, Balukh Volodymyr, Bekirov Edem, Hryb Pavlo, Zhemchugov Voloadymyr, Karpiuk Mykola, Kolchenko Oleksandr, Kozlovsky Ihor, Movenko Ihor, Panov Yevhen, Ramazanov Ismail, Semena Mykola, Sentsov Oleh, Sushchenko Roman, Chyihoz Akhtem, Shumkov Alexander.
“The platform is engaged in the fight for the release of all Ukrainian citizens who are behind bars as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation: political prisoners, hostages, prisoners of war. We also condemn the illegal, politically motivated persecution of pro-Ukrainian activists – patriots in Ukraine”,- Sentsov added.
