Zelensky signed a decree on certain measures aimed at de-occupation and reintegration of Crimea

On Friday, February 26, on the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on certain measures aimed at de-occupation and reintegration of the Crimean Peninsula.

“Now we are finally taking real steps towards resolving all these issues”,- the President said.

Zelensky stressed that together with Ukraine's international partners on the eve of Independence Day, the first meeting of the Crimean Platform will be held in Kyiv. This is an international platform initiated by Ukraine for the search and further implementation of a set of measures to de-occupy the peninsula and protect the rights of Crimeans.

“Today I signed a decree on certain measures aimed at de-occupation and reintegration of the Crimean peninsula. In particular, the government is charged with organizing and launching the Crimean Platform, as well as measures to develop and support the Crimean Tatar language, culture and protection of the rights of residents of the annexed Crimea”,- he added.
