Ukraine is not a friendly state for us – Peskov

February 18, 2021

On Thursday, February 18, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, said that judging by the “anti-Russian actions that constantly dominate the policy of the Ukrainian leadership,” Ukraine is not a friendly state for the Russian Federation. Interfax reports this.

"Ukraine is a sovereign government that is not a friendly state for us," he said. The politician added that the Russian Federation came to this conclusion due to "anti-Russian actions that constantly dominate the Ukrainian leadership policy."

Peskov added that Russia recognizes the Ukrainian state. However, since the Ukrainian revolution with the connivance of several Western countries, Ukraine turned into a project of these very countries.
