On Sunday, February 14, the Russian security forces detained the Crimean Tatar activist Lilia Reshidova. The woman was detained for 7 hours, after which she was released. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
“Early in the morning in Crimea, the special services detained the Crimean Tatar Lilia Reshidova. A young woman works in Simferopol in the maternity ward of one of the Crimean hospitals and was on her shift when FSB officers came to the hospital. In her free time, she is engaged in volunteer work and collecting aid for sick children and low-income families”,- the message said.
According to lawyer Islyam Veliliaiev, the woman is being held as a witness in a criminal case against other citizens.
