The CTRC methodology caused panic among collaborators

February 15, 2021

Collaborators continue to actively respond to the methodology developed by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center for assessing the feasibility of introducing personal sanctions against persons who cooperate with the occupation authorities. In particular, the vice-speaker of the so-called parliament of the occupied Crimea, Efim Fiks, and the so-called MP of the Russian State Duma, Ruslan Balbek, said that this initiative “is very reminiscent of the policy of the German Nazis.”

“This story with assessments reminds us the situation in the 30s in Germany. Then people were assessed for the irregular shape of the nose or forehead, and then concentration camps were created and people were eliminated. They (the initiators) are very good heirs of German fascism. And everyone knows what it is. It was ended with the raising of the Banner of Victory over the Reichstag”,- said Efim Fiks.

According to Balbek, such initiatives are very reminiscent of the policies of the German Nazis, who “created a race scale 80 years ago.”

“And now it turned out that in Ukraine a handful of renegades took up this disgusting deed. Reading their thoughtful reasoning about cooperation with the “occupation regime”, you feel like a doctor who caught the eye of a madman's notes”,- he said.

The so-called MP added that for the seventh year Ukraine has been demonstrating to the whole world “the degradation of political ideology.”

In addition, the well-known Russian TV channel Russia 1 devoted a whole report to this technique.

We remind that on February 3, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center held a press conference on the topic Modern challenges of assessing the actions of collaborationists and sanctions policy, during which it presented a methodology for assessing the feasibility of introducing personal sanctions against persons who cooperate with the occupation authorities.
