On Monday, February 8, at a meeting of the operational headquarters on water supply problems, the so-called head of the occupied Crimea said that the Russian authorities could not clean up the Salhir River due to the fact that it collects sewage waste.
“Today we cannot clean Salhir due to the fact that it collects sewage waste, waste of life and so on in Simferopol and Simferopol district”,- he said.
Aksenov noted that the same situation is observed with discharges into the sea. In addition, he said that the Crimean authorities are consulting with foreign companies, the names of which he did not name, on water purification.
