US Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan said on the Rain TV channel that America and the European Union do not intend to weaken the sanctions that were imposed due to the annexation of Crimea.
“We will not weaken the sanctions, in any case, neither the United States nor our allies and partners intend to weaken the sanctions imposed as a result of these events (the annexation of Crimea by Russia)”,- he said.
Sullivan stressed that the issue of the situation in Ukraine remains a priority for the American administration.
