Occupants held regular military exercises in Crimea

January 28, 2021

On Thursday, January 28, despite the spread of coronavirus infection, another illegal military exercise took place in the occupied Crimea, during which more than 15 pieces of equipment and about 100 military personnel were involved. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

“The combat crews arrived in the designated area, deployed the complexes for combat use and prepared for simulated firing. In accordance with the combat training plan, the servicemen of the Bastion BPKRK battalion in the field worked out a set of tasks for their intended purpose, during which they conducted various trainings”,- the message said.

We remind you that military exercises, propaganda of military service and conscription into the ranks of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are regularly held in the occupied Crimea. The Russian military exercises are destroying the ecosystem of the peninsula and are a flagrant violation of international law.

Earlier, NATO in its statement on Crimea condemned Russia's ongoing large-scale military build-up in Crimea and expressed concern over Russia's efforts and announced plans to further build up military power in the Black Sea region.
