In 2020, 77 cases of transporting political prisoners of Crimea were recorded, 70 of which were against representatives of the indigenous people. Last year, 96 cases of transfer were reported in the same period. This is stated in the analysis of human rights violations in Crimea for 2020 by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.
During the reporting period, the following persons were subject to such a violation: the persons involved in the so-called Krasnohvardiiske Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Rustem Emiruseinov, Arsen Abkhairov, Eskender Abdulhaniev, the persons involved in the so-called Simferopol Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Teymur and Uzeir Abdullaev, Ayder Saledinaqqsawov, Seytveli Seytabdiev, persons involved in the so-called case of Ukrainian saboteurs – Vladimir Dudka and Oleksiy Bessarabov, persons involved in the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Enver Omerov, Riza Omerov, Ayder Dzhapparov, Ruslan Mesutov, Eldar Kantimirov, Ruslan Nagaev and Lenur Khalilov, the person involved in the so-called case of Jehovah’s Witnesses – Sergiy Filatov, Artem Gerasimov, defendants in the so-called Yalta Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Emir-Husein Kuku and Muslim Aliev, as well as Oleg Prykhodko, Ruslan Suleymanov, Enver Seitosmanov and Nariman Memedeminov, defendants in the so-called second Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Marlen Asanov, Seyran Saliiev, Timur Ibrahimov, Memet Belyalov, Ernest Ametov, Server Zakiryaev, Server Mustafayev and Edem Smailov, defendants in the so-called third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Takhrir case – Osman Seytumerov, Seytumer Seytumerov and Rustem Seytmemetov, as well as all the persons involved in the so-called second Simferopol Hizb ut-Tahrir case.
Some political prisoners were subjected to illegal transfer twice.
We remind that according to the monitoring data, during the reporting period, 52 searches were recorded on the peninsula, 280 cases of arrests, 92 cases of interrogations, interviews and conversations, 252 – arrests: 47 – new arrests, 16 – sentences, 189 – extensions of detention under guards to political prisoners of Crimea. In addition, 424 cases of violations of the right to a fair trial, 138 to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health are known.
