The so-called Head of Yalta Yanina Pavlenko said that according to preliminary estimates, 80 to 100 thousand tourists will come to Yalta for the New Year holidays, in connection with which additional beds for patients with coronavirus are already being deployed in the city. She reported this via her Facebook page.
“We are entering the active phase of the winter holiday season, according to preliminary estimates, 80 to 100 thousand tourists will come to Yalta. Great news by peacetime standards in the conditions of a real war with coronavirus makes us mobilize”,- the message said.
She noted that the city is already deploying additional beds to prepare for the increasing pressure on medicine.
We remind that since the beginning of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, 651 people have died from infection. At the moment, 28,557 cases of infection have been detected on the peninsula.
