Ukrainian border guards at the Kalanchak and Chonhar checkpoints fined 25 Ukrainians who illegally entered the occupied Crimea from the territory of the Russian Federation through the Kerch Bridge. This was reported by the press service of the Kherson border detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
“During a document check at the Kalanchak checkpoint, border guards found 17 Ukrainian citizens, and at the Chonhar checkpoint, 8 Ukrainian citizens who violated the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. All of them illegally entered the annexed Crimea from the Russian territory via the Kerch Bridge”,- the message said.
It is noted that the border guards brought the violators to administrative responsibility under Article 204-2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, and imposed a fine totaling UAH 42 500.
