The Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea seized 32 ships that entered the closed ports of Crimea

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea sent a petition to the court for the imposition of arrests on 32 ships that violated the procedure for entering / leaving the occupied peninsula and entered the closed ports of Crimea. The press service of the department reported about this.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, 32 more vessels have been identified that violated the procedure for entering / leaving from / to the occupied peninsula and arrests have been imposed on these vessels by petitions from the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomy. Now the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomy plans to send a request to the Interpol Ukrburo to include such vessels in the database, search and send requests to foreign states for international legal assistance, in order to carry out arrests”,- the message said.

It is noted that the legislation is violated mainly by the ships flying the flag of Russia, sometimes – of Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, that is, the countries with which there is no international cooperation in this direction.
