It is not yours – Lukashevich about the occupied Crimea

December 14, 2020

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE Aleksandr Lukashevich responded to demands to ensure unhindered access for international human rights mechanisms to the peninsula. He said that Crimea should not be disturbed, since it is a constituent entity of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Russian media agency TASS.

“Western colleagues always pay attention to the fact that throughout the territory (of Ukraine), including Crimea. We make it clear every time: dear friends, do not disturb it, it (Crimea) is not yours. It has long been a subject of the Russian Federation – Crimea and a federal city of Sevastopol. So far not really reaching, but we will continue to “ground” the dreamers with their plans for the SMM to work in the Crimean direction”,- he said.

We remind that on November 26, the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna Yevhen Tsymbaliuk, during a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, called on the Russian Federation to ensure unhindered access to international human rights mechanisms, as well as the OSCE SMM to the occupied Crimea.
