The so-called head of the occupied Crimea Sergei Aksenov said that the planned work on drilling wells at a number of water intakes to ensure water supply to Simferopol will end on April 1. By this time, 110 thousand cubic meters of water will be supplied from underground water intakes.
“We must complete the planned work on drilling wells at a number of water intakes to ensure water supply to Simferopol by April 1. In total, we will supply 110,000 cubic meters of water from underground water intakes. Even if there is not a single gram of water in terms of precipitation”,- Aksenov said.
Maksim Novik, a representative of the Water of Crimea enterprise, said that since last week the enterprise has been supplying Simferopol with water at a rate of 70 to 50. That is, more than 70 thousand cubic meters per day are supplied from underground sources and about 50 are surface water sources.
