The so-called courts in the occupied Crimea were closed for visits by relatives and journalists due to the spread of coronavirus infection. This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.
“Visitors are a very important aspect in such cases. It is both public control and support for them. It is important for them to see that someone is sitting in the hall. This point must be respected, but during a pandemic, the courts abuse restrictions. We see less people come, so support also decreases. Of course, it is necessary to provide all security measures: masks, and social distancing. But not letting anyone in is illegal”,- explained the lawyer Kurbedinov.
