The defendant in the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case Amet Suleymanov turns 36

On Sunday, October 25, Amet Suleymanov, a political prisoner involved in the so-called third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case, turned 36 years old. He is forced to celebrate his birthday in a pre-trial detention center, where he and other defendants in the so-called case were illegally placed by the Russian authorities. We remind that on March 11, Russian security officials raided the dwellings of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchisaray and the Bakhchisaray district. Searches were conducted in the dwellings of Seytumer Seytumerov, Shukri Seytumerov, Amet Suleymanov, Seydamet Mustafayev, Rustem Seytmemetov, Ayder Suleymanov and Seytumer Seytumerov. The activists were detained. On March 12, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol sent Amet Suleymanov under house arrest.
