On Monday, October 19, the so-called Gagarin District Court of the occupied Sevastopol began a new trial of the so-called case against Viktor Stashevsky, a suspect in participation in the Jehovah’s Witnesses religious organization banned in Russia. This was reported by the Crimean Human Rights Group.

We remind you that on June 4, Russian security officials conducted searches in at least 9 dwellings of Crimeans in Sevastopol suspected of participating in the Jehovah's Witnesses religious organization banned in Russia. As a result, 52-year-old Viktor Stashevsky was detained, but the next day he was released from the detention center on recognizance not to leave.
