On Thursday, October 15, another illegal military exercise took place in the occupied Crimea. The Russian Black Sea Fleet conducted maneuvers with the participation of the Admiral Grigorovich frigate and the Utes coastal missile system, which is located in the Crimean mountains. This was reported by the press service of the Black Sea Fleet.
It is noted that during the exercise, the combat crew of the Utes complex fired a Progress missile at a simulated enemy. At a distance of more than 10 kilometers, this missile was successfully hit by the Shtil anti-aircraft missile system of the frigate Admiral Grigorovich.
“To ensure safety, the maritime range in the Black Sea, where rocket firing was carried out, was closed to navigation. The tasks of closing the area were performed by more than 10 warships and auxiliary vessels of the Black Sea Fleet”,- the message said.
We remind that military exercises, propaganda of military service and conscription into the ranks of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are regularly held in the occupied Crimea. The Russian military exercises are destroying the ecosystem of the peninsula and are a flagrant violation of international law.
Earlier, NATO in its statement on Crimea condemned Russia's ongoing large-scale military build-up in Crimea and expressed concern over Russia's efforts and announced plans to further build up military power in the Black Sea region.
