The Ombudswoman for Human Rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova stated that the program of the so-called interethnic harmony is being successfully implemented in the occupied Crimea and no one violates the rights of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people. She reported this via her Instagram page.
Moskalkova noted that she held an online meeting with the ombudsmen of the annexed Crimea and Sevastopol and with the so-called representatives of the Muftiate and government of Crimea.
“We discussed issues on a broad human rights agenda in the region, paid attention to the issue of guarantees of the rights of Crimean Tatars. During the conversation, it was noted that in recent years, enormous work has been done to improve the life of the citizens of the peninsula”,- the statement said.
The Russian Ombudswoman stated that the regional state program “The Republic of Crimea – the Territory of Interethnic Harmony” is being successfully implemented on the peninsula.
