October 6, 2020

On Tuesday, October 6, during a meeting of the so-called Government of the occupied Crimea, the so-called speaker of the parliament Vladimir Konstantinov announced his intention to launch a direct transport link between Minsk and Simferopol.

“We are interested, at least, in direct transport communication Minsk-Simferopol, both aviation and railway. We will also turn to the Belarusian regions to organize inter-parliamentary cooperation. This is an important part of foreign policy”,- he said.

We remind that on November 8, 2019, in the occupied Crimea, the sale of railway tickets from Crimea to Moscow and St. Petersburg started at all railway ticket offices. On December 23, the first passenger train departed from the Moscow railway station in St. Petersburg to the occupied Crimea. The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Poland and Romania condemned the opening of railway traffic on the Kerch Bridge and reiterated their non-recognition of the annexation of Crimea.
