The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commenting on the new sanctions against the Russian Federation, reiterated that neither the EU nor Poland will ever recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia. This was reported on the agency’s Twitter page.
"The EU has just taken restrictive measures against businesses and individuals involved in the opening of rail links between Russia and Crimea. Poland and the EU will not recognize and do not recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia,"- the statement said.
