Single pickets in support of Crimean Tatars held in Russia

October 1, 2020

On Wednesday, September 30, participants of the Russian initiative Strategy-30 held single pickets in Moscow in support of the Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian political prisoners. They unfurled posters with the inscriptions: “Refusal of the amnesty today is a crime against humanity”, “Muslims are not terrorists, “Crimea is Ukraine”, “FSIN kills” and others. The corresponding photo report was posted via their Facebook page by the protesters.

“The deadlines for innocent Muslims are what only happen under totalitarianism. 15, 20, 22, even 24 year… For “wrong” faith, for “wrong” conversations on issues of faith. These are significant deeds: it becomes obvious in what inescapable horror we live. And so far we can not do anything to save people from being grinded by the system. The only tool is publicity through the Internet. This gives a shaky hope that this way we will speed up the release of political prisoners. We will accelerate the fall of the regime”,- the activists stressed.
