On Friday, September 25, during a meeting of the operational headquarters, the so-called head of the occupied Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that they wanted to build a desalination plant in the village of Mykolaiivka, Simferopol district, which would improve the situation with water supply.
“It is being developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on behalf of the President and within the next two weeks the federal government will propose a solution related to the construction of a desalination plant in Simferopol. The plant will be built in the village of Mykolaiivka, on the seashore, 30 km straight line (to Simferopol). No one has ever implemented such projects. In fact, the decision to be made here will be unique”,- he said.
The so-called Prime Minister of the peninsula Iurii Hotsaniuk noted that these actions will significantly improve the situation with water supply in Simferopol.
