Residents of Alushta in the occupied Crimea complain about the “terrible smell of sewage” from the city’s rivers. This was reported by the so-called head of the Alushta administration Galina Ogneva, adding that the employees of the “Water of Crimea” will conduct raids and check all the buildings along the river bed.

“Complaints from guests of our city appeared on social networks. Criticism of tourists is directed not at the service, not at the infrastructure, but at the “terrible smell of sewage” from the rivers of Alushta. Together with the employees of the Alushta branch of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “Water of Crimea” I went to the park-hotel Porto Mare. On the spot, the director of the hotel, Mikhail Bychenkov, confirmed the presence of a stench from the two rivers, which occurs after 19:00”,-  the message said.

It is noted that the employees of the “Water of Crimea” will conduct raids in the evening and check private houses, mini-hotels, all buildings along the river bed in order to find pipes through which discharges go.
