Single pickets in support of Crimean Tatars held in Russia

September 17, 2020

On Wednesday, September 16, the participants of the Russian initiative Strategy-18 held single pickets in Russia in support of the Crimean Tatars, who were sentenced for decades. They unfurled posters with the inscriptions: “110 years to seven from Bakhchisaray”, “Crimean Tatars are not terrorists”, “The verdict did not break the heroes”, “The fight against terrorism in Crimea is a fight against dissent” and others. The corresponding photo report was published by the participants of the event via Facebook.

“We are happy for the freed Ernest Ametov and congratulate his family on the holiday! Whatever it was, but the system sieged back a little. The beautiful women of Crimea showed that they are not inferior to men in courage and resilience. We know how dangerous it is to stand in picket… And today everyone – children, the elderly, and the young – were picketing for the freedom of prisoners. We are with you, we admire your courage!”,- noted the activists.
