On Monday, September 14, the head of the “Water of Crimea” enterprise, Vladimir Bazhenov, during a meeting on water supply in Simferopol, Bakhchisaray and Simferopol regions, said that the shallowing of the peninsula’s reservoirs had reached a critical level. Only precipitation can correct the situation.
“Over the past day, 122 thousand cubic meters were supplied. The rise in Partyzansk was reduced to 9.8 thousand cubic meters, that is, we are already lifting less than 10 thousand cubic meters from the Partyzansk reservoir. The water reservoirs on the Petrovsky rocks are being filled the worst of all. This is the dominant height, the lower the horizon, the fewer floors the water is “squeezed out from”,- he said.
Bazhenov stressed that for the residents of those areas, only a supply is possible, only a rise of water, and “if there is no precipitation, I will not be able to take water from nowhere.”
