MP of the Russian State Duma, ex-prosecutor of the occupied Crimea Nataliia Poklonska said that she had already collected and sent to the UN materials “about illegal actions” of Ukraine regarding the blocking of the water supply to the peninsula. She reported this via her Facebook page.
“In response to the proposal of the UN Office to provide additional information on the issue of access to water in Crimea, I have collected relevant materials and sent them to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms. Michelle Bachelet”,- the message said.
Poklonska noted that her materials contain information “about the illegal actions of the UN member state Ukraine, which deliberately deprived millions of people of the basic and inalienable right to drinking water, creating a real threat to the life and health of the population of the peninsula.”
“The justification by the Ukrainian side of their crime looks ridiculous: to refer to its innocence in the lack of drinking water and to urge Russia to independently resolve issues of access to it, after they themselves have illegally cut off the water”,- she added.
We remind that earlier the MP of the State Duma, ex-prosecutor of the occupied Crimea Nataliia Poklonska said that she was offered cooperation with the Department of Field Operations and Technical Cooperation of the UN Office in providing additional information on access to water in the occupied Crimea. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar, commenting on Poklonska's statement, noted that in fact the invaders are wishful thinking.
