In the occupied Crimea, the proceedings were resumed in the so-called case against the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev. The so-called court sessions will take place on September 10 and 11. Lawyer Nikolay Polozov reported about it via his Facebook page.
“This week, after a month-long break, the trial in the case against Mustafa Dzhemilev in the occupied Crimea was resumed. The eighth trial against the leader of the Crimean Tatar people, unlike the previous seven trials that took place in Soviet times, is being held without the direct participation of Mustafa-ağa”,- the message said.
Mustafa Dzhemilev is charged under Part 3 of Article 322 of the Criminal Code of Russia – “Illegal crossing of the state border of Russia”, under Part 1 of Article 222 – “Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, their main parts, ammunition” and under Article 224 – “Careless possession of firearms, which created conditions for its use by another person, if this entailed the death of a person or other serious consequences.”
