On Thursday, August 27, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told US Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Bigan about the creation of the Crimean Platform and called on the United States to support the initiative and consider joining it. This was reported via the website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
At the meeting, which took place during the working visit of US First Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Bigan to Ukraine, the situations in the territories of eastern Ukraine and Crimea temporarily occupied by Russia were considered separately.
“Dmytro Kuleba told his interlocutor about the process of creating the Crimean platform to consolidate international efforts to de-occupy the Ukrainian peninsula and called on the United States to support the initiative and consider joining it”,- the ministry said in a statement.
