Ukrainian diplomats in Turkey joined the flash mob dedicated to the Independence Day

Ukrainian diplomats in Istanbul and Ankara have joined the “Get to Crimea” flash mob organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for the Independence Day. Participants of the event had together to run the distance from Kiev to Kerch, making it equal to “zero”. This was reported by Ukrinform.

Participants of the flash mob  had to  overcome 958 km together that separate Kiev and Kerch, making the distance equal to "zero".

"In Turkey, the symbolic route to Crimea was run in Istanbul and Ankara. In Istanbul, the distance that Ukrainian diplomats and their family members had to cover was along one of the city's embankments. In Ankara, diplomats of the embassy ran along  one of the most picturesque places in the Turkish capital – Lake Eimirgulu", – the message says.

So, in Turkey, the Ukrainians ran the distance of more more than 15 km: in Ankara – more than 10 km and 5 km in Istanbul.
