Zelensky discussed with the President of Turkey the issue of releasing political prisoners

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during which the interlocutors discussed the release of political prisoners. Zelensky announced a new list of more than 20 Crimean Tatars. This was reported by the press service of the President’s Office.

“We have a new list, which includes more than 20 Crimean Tatars who are illegally held by Russia. Among them is the father of a three-year-old boy who died in Crimea, Ruslan Suleimanov”,- Zelensky said.

In addition, the President of Ukraine thanked his Turkish counterpart for the continued support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
