On Thursday, August 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during his participation in the presentation of the Development Strategy for the Kherson region, said that Crimea would return much faster to Ukraine if there is a successful Kherson region next to it. This was reported by the Ukrinform media agency.
“The Kherson region has everything. It has only one thing – there is no other way out than to become a diamond of the Ukrainian South. And this is not a desire, this is our task. The Ukrainian Crimea is very close, it will definitely return to us, and I am sure that when next to it there will be a blooming, shining, successful Kherson region, this return will happen much faster”,- Zelensky stressed.
