On Wednesday, August 19, the representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea visited the Kalanchak checkpoint, where he paid special attention to the issue of the procedure for admitting persons with humanitarian purposes. This was reported by the press service of the Kherson border detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
“Accompanied by the head of the Kherson border detachment, Colonel Iurii Chernov, the presidential representative visited the Kalanchak checkpoint, where he got acquainted with the procedure for the operation of the checkpoint, the conditions for passing citizens through the administrative border and the work of border guards during the period of quarantine measures”,- the message said.
It is noted that Anton Korynevich talked with travelers who were crossing the administrative border at that time. We paid special attention to the issue of the procedure for admitting persons with humanitarian purposes and problematic issues that arise when crossing the administrative border during the quarantine period.
