On Thursday, August 20, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea began criminal proceedings on the facts of illegal detention and a search of a Crimean resident for allegedly participating in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion. The press service of the department reported about this.
“Criminal proceedings have begun on the facts of the illegal imprisonment of a citizen of Ukraine on August 19 for allegedly participating in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion (Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), as well as violation of the inviolability of home by conducting an illegal search at his place of residence in the Kirov district Of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Part 2 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) by the employees of the illegally created body “FSB of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol”,- the message said.
We remind that on August 19, on the occupied peninsula, officers of the Russian FSB detained a Crimean resident suspected of allegedly participating in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion. The name and surname are not mentioned anywhere.
