A citizen of Ukraine tried to cross the administrative border with the occupied Crimea, without having appropriate grounds. The man offered the border guard $ 100 for an unobstructed pass. This was reported by the press service of the Kherson border detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
“Yesterday, a citizen of Ukraine arrived on foot to the Kalanchak checkpoint, despite the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 979-r “On the temporary suspension of the work of entry checkpoints to the temporarily occupied territory of the ARC and the city of Sevastopol and exit from it” and wanted to cross the administrative border without having appropriate grounds for this”,- the message said.
It is noted that the serviceman refused a bribe and informed the employees of the National Police about the discovery of signs of a criminal offense provided for in Article 369 of the Criminal Code “Offer, promise or provision of an unlawful benefit to an official.”
