The Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Ihor Ponochovny in a commentary to the RBC-Ukraine newspaper said that Ukraine, even after the end of the conflict, will not recognize the documents that were issued in the occupied Crimea by the occupation authorities.
“If we now say that we recognize documents or decisions related to the right of ownership, it will just start a mess, since many real estate objects in Crimea were illegally appropriated by the occupiers, but at the same time they legally belong to the citizens of Ukraine. It is the non-recognition of any legal documents and decisions, issued by the occupation authorities that can be a guarantee that the process of the annexation of Crimea by Russia will never end”,- he explained.
