The newly appointed head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, said that one of the main tasks for the military intelligence of Ukraine is the return of the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. This was reported by the press service of the President’s Office.
"Today, the military intelligence of Ukraine faces such tasks. This is an increase in the influence of intelligence in the field of international relations, the return of the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the restoration of justice in relation to the persons who brought the war to our homeland," Budanov said.
In addition, Kirill Budanov sets himself the task of improving the professional level of employees, introducing new technologies, strengthening analytical work in order to predict risks and holding special events.
