The Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has published six possible humanitarian grounds for crossing the checkpoint, despite the temporary restriction of their work due to the spread of coronavirus infection. A prerequisite for crossing the administrative border is the installation of the “Dii vdoma” application.
The department published a list of possible humanitarian grounds for crossing the checkpoint during the temporary restriction of their work:
– submission by the applicant (with one of the parents or guardians) documents for admission to an educational institution;
– in the absence of registration of the place of residence, however, in the presence of other evidence of residence in Crimea / in government-controlled territory;
– the need to comply with the principle of family unity;
– in cases of severe illness of the person and the need to replenish stocks of drugs and / or receive medical assistance;
– in cases of death or serious illness of close relatives;
– in other cases, when there is reason to believe that the situation demands an urgent need to cross the administrative border in any direction (including in cases of politically motivated persecution by the Russian-controlled government on the annexed peninsula).
It is noted that a prerequisite for crossing the checkpoint from the temporarily occupied territory is the establishment of the application “Dii vdoma”. You can stop self-isolation early after receiving a negative test results for COVID-19.
We remind, that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to temporarily suspend the operation of the checkpoint between the Kherson region and the occupied Crimea from August 9 to August 30, 2020.
