Zelensky discussed with Putin the possibility of freeing 22 Crimean Tatars

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during his last conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, initiated a discussion on the release of 22 Crimean Tatars, who are being illegally detained in the occupied Crimea. This was reported by the press service of the President’s Office.

“Also, this list has already been transferred to the Russian side. And we expect that this issue will also be resolved”,- the message says.

Volodymyr Zelensky also requested the release of the Crimean Tatar Ruslan Suleimanov, who is being illegally detained in Crimea, whose son, unfortunately, was found dead.
