On Wednesday, August 5, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Ievhen Ienin met with the head of the Foreign Ministry of Panama Federico Alfaro Boyd. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama promised to take control of the situation when ships under the Panamanian flag entered the closed ports of the occupied Crimea.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama will take control of the situation on the facts of violations of the rules for entering the closed ports of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by ships flying the Panamanian flag – harsh sanctions await violators!” – the message said.
