FSB kept a Crimean Tatar family for more than seven hours on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea

On Monday, August 3, while crossing the administrative border with the occupied Crimea at the Kalanchak checkpoint, FSB officers held the Crimean Tatar family for more than seven hours, after which they let everyone into the territory of the Kherson region. This was reported by the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov via his Facebook page.

“Today from 11:00 Russian occupants on the administrative border at the Kalanchak checkpoint between the occupied Crimea and the Kherson region are holding the Karashaev family, consisting of Islyam and Dilyara with their two young children. The Karashaev family lives in Kyiv, they came to Crimea to visit their old parents”,- the message said.

It is noted that all the time the FSB officers were interrogating Islyam Karashaev. After seven hours of confinement, the Russian invaders let the Karashaev family to leave Crimea and enter the Kherson region.
